Bl. Francis Xavier Seelos
Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos was a German Redemptorist priest who preached in missions in the United States with St. John Neumann. He lived a simple life and was an excellent confessor, spiritual director, and homilist. He died in 1867 in New Orleans, Louisiana after caring for victims of yellow fever. “In the various places where he worked, Fr.
