St. Joseph of Cupertino

Patron Saint of Air Travelers, Astronauts, Pilots, and Students

St. Joseph of Cupertino was a Conventual Friar during the 17th century. He is best known for his multiple occasions of ecstasy, the most famous of which occurred while he was saying Mass. From this, he was viewed by the public to be a holy man. While some just sought to see Joseph as a sideshow for his levitating, he remained devoted to God, always directing others towards a life of prayer. St. Joseph of Cupertino’s life can be a reminder for us to give thanks to God when good things are happening in our lives. He is the patron of aviation and astronauts.
